New from clothing brand You Must Create a.k.a YMC for the Summer.
We love this brand because of its innovative direction in design. Subtle emphasis is always key for great quality garments.
On to the product:
Linen Cotton Short Sleeve:
"Cut in a linen-cotton mix this short-sleeved 1950s styled shirt features a subtle inside pocket at the front bottom of body, with visible external stitching. Other details include a vented hem, collar stiffeners and brown button's finished with brown thread."
Satin Cotton Chino Shorts:
"Tailored shorts are a key trend for spring/summer & look great with either a t-shirt or casual shirt. These shorts are knee length with a button fly, belt loops, coin pocket & two button fastening back pockets."
King Plait Belt:
"Made from one piece of dark brown leather, the belt is finished with matt silver hardware with a YMC debossed belt loop."
YMC is definitely giving some great quality garments and cool summer looks. Check out the rest of what they offer Here.

Nike will be releasing a "Greatest Hits" package this summer and for one of their installments they bring us the Nike Air Max 1 Premium "Safari" colorway. Inspired by a subtle grey dotted pattern found on scattered Nike models, these Air Max 1's come as a quickstrike and should be expected around the end of June for around 125$.
Listen/Download Here. Cam'Ron - My Aura.
The hell you been at Cam? SMH...Cam speaks about his Aura and not giving a fuck about a "swag". Hmmmm, shots at those who rather swag splash?
This is that "I don't give a fuck music". OK.
"George Carlin, the acerbic, Grammy-winning comedian whose career spanned more than 50years, died of heart failure Sunday after being admitted to the hospital complaining of chest pains, a hospital spokesman said. He was 71.
Carlin, who had a history of heart problems, died at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica shortly before 6 p.m., said his publicist Jeff Abraham.
The comedian, who toured college campuses for years and made a name for himself using dirty language and delivering biting social commentaries, had released 22 solo albums and three bestselling books."
Carlin was a funny dude man, like on some real. Didn't need to draw a huge crowd with shock value nonsense. Real sad day, but clowns don't get depressed...they hit people with pies. R.I.P dude.

Nasir pokes his head out of his hole to speak to Spin magazine in an online article. Heres what he had to say in response:
"You've drawn heat from some older black leaders for the title. Does that surprise you at all?
I called the record Nigger, with the 'er,' to create a dialogue. You can't just say, 'Why are rappers using this word?' You gotta stick around to find out. "

Yup, that's right you read right. Rapper M.I.A is packing it up in favor of the married life. Right on the heels of cancelling her upcoming U.K tour she had a gig in Bonnaroo (?) where she announced that it would be her "last show ever" to quote the energetic emcee.
She spat into the mic that the show would be her last three seperate times and thanked the fans for coming out to show love.
Damn...that was quick.

Yes we know that we have been little slackers in the nightspot perusal. It's time to get back into the swing of things!
This spot has yet to be visited by our tastes but here is a short synopsis provided by the father of urban delights:
" The Forge is the kind of room that makes you want to linger with a date and a cocktail on a summer evening: Cathedral candles are everywhere, the large floor-to-ceiling windows open up to the breezy tree-lined street, and the food starts at the nearby Tribeca farmer's market. "
Be our eyes, check it out and let us know if it forged a good impression!

Currently what? Inspired by butcherism? We don't know how we feel about the new direction that Nike Inc. is taking the beloved Air Max 90 model. It seems to have gone a ways of the Presto model with a fully exposed mesh toe, all you bastards on sneaker forums crying and bitching saying "No mesh No go" can now shut the hell up!
Here's Nike's concept pitch:
" The first place the design team found inspiration was on the same page of the 1990 catalog as the Air Max, an incredibly lightweight shoe called Air Current. Designed by Bruce Kilgore, mastermind behind the Air Force 1, the Current expanded on materials first seen in the Air Flow from 1989. The Flow incorporated a nylon and Lycra stretch fabric into the shoe’s forefoot that reduced the need for bulky materials while providing a comfortable dynamic fit. Years later, the Presto would further develop this concept and earn accolades as one of the most comfortable athletic shoes ever made. For the AM 90 Current, a premium stretch mesh is incorporated into the forefoot, greatly reducing weight and adding breathability to the upper. "

NaS's latest effort will be untitled as we have all speculated. It will still pack the aesthetic punch with the graphic work of Nasir bearing a whipped back to form his "N" logo. Here's what, in an early press release NaS had to say about his whip appeal:
"It’s important to me that this album gets to the fans,” Nas said of his newest project. “It’s been a long time coming. I want my fans to know that creatively and lyrically, they can expect the same content and the same messages. It’s that important. The streets have been waiting for this for a long time. The people will always know what the real title of this album is and what to call it."
July 15th is THAT DAY! Whether we want to give him credit or not, him and his team definitely saved probably the most marketing dollars in 2007-2008 for this new project. Kudos.
