Everyone has their own opinion on how great J Dilla was and still is. Born James Yancey, he left this earth on February 10th 2006 but is still with us to this day. This February 7th marked his birthday and two years since his passing. He would have been 34 this year.
In his memory Stones Throw Records has released a podcast titled Thank You Jay Dee Act 3. It's mixed by J.Rocc and is available either on iTunes or the Stones Throw Homepage.
Personally, We're influenced by this man, countless nights have been spent with his production on loop accompanied by the crafting of numerous verses to them. R.I.P Dilla. -Abstract Minds
