Noah Caine - The Crown by Noah Caine

Source: Herfection

" Noah Caine is back with his second single from his upcoming mixtape “The-Preseason“. Although I’m fairly new to Noah’s music, he’s peaked my interest not only with his lyrics but from everything to the beats that he chooses to his artwork is quite impressive. Check out his previous single The Genesis right here if you haven’t yet! "

We stole this from top blog site Herfection but by the looks of it, it was justified.

Noah Caine is back to give us a second sneak peek off his upcoming project "The Preseason" and JESUS are we impressed! We haven't heard anything with such a stream of consciousness and lyricism since who knows when. Very impressive. We'll keep you updated when the tape drops soon, according to Noah.

This record has to be one of the most introspective and critical from the Brooklyn, New York producer/emcee. Here he tackles a topic as mirror turning as the one on Wasted Talent.

This one is worthy of iPod shuffle transport.

Here's the second single off of J Face's effort Still Aight.

This is what the man himself has to say about the track:

"Wasted Talent touches on a subject very common to our society, especially in the entertainment business; drug/alcohol and abuse. There's been more than a handful of successful individuals who fell victim to substance abuse, and even some on the verge of success not making it to their full potential. As role models to the younger generation, I think its important that this issue is pushed because this is all we see on-screen. There's more to these individuals than whats portrayed by the media."

We've gotten an Email here and there from J Face regarding his new project titled Still Aight over the past couple of months.

Here we see that the project is fully underway with the release of his first track off the upcoming project. This one is called "Let Me Go"

Pretty dope. We'll hit you with a lil info about the tape when he shoots it on over.

New Music: Raphael Saadiq Feat. J Face - Got Me...

J Face Says:

" This track is extra sexy, I had to hop on this ASAP for the ladies! Raphael Saadiq is back! Good music was left in the 90's but he's bringing apart of it with him! I recommend picking up his album. "

Dope!

New Music: Keri Hilson Gets Face...

Listen/Download Here. Keri Hilson ft. JFace - Gotta B Love

J Face says:

" I had fun late night half asleep making this one...hope you enjoy!!! Shout out to KH super awesome artist! "

In our most unbiased opinion of this remix effort, we like it. We think it was appropriate usage of the Keri Hilson sample that many know at the current moment due to its radio psins and Kanye guest appearance (No Ne-Yo..no one remembers that you were on the "Knock You Down" record...). This will most definitely find its way onto the iPod for the New York underground trips.

Good job.

Jface recently let the Mp3 go for this remix. The remixed version is crazy because of the way he perfectly blended the new production with Carrera Lu's a capella.

Dooope!

Dare we say better than the original? Wondering if we could get this beat for sale?

New Music: Love Lockdown (JFace Remix)...

This just in straight from the e-mails.

Ususally we wait until Monday morning to post submissions from the weekend diggs but since this is from an Abstract Minds N.Y.C Co-signee we decided to notify our readers of its presence a day early.

Brooklyn New York producer JFace has gotten his hands on the exclusive "Love Lockdown" a capella that Kanye released about a week ago. "Love Lockdown" has been getting a lot of criticism from new listeners as well as Kanye stans alike. Many voice their dislike of Kanye's usage of the autotuner as of late in a bevy of his releases but Kanye responded on his blog earlier that the autotuner is here to stay so get used to it!

The remix is actually a step in the right direction for Kanye's expression for failed love. The pop-ish synths and the friggin' CLIMAX that was absent from the original production is here and in good form.

Kudos to the dude JFace for attempting and accomplishing what many say Yeezy simply dropped the ball with by doing this remix.

"Love Lockdown" is the single off of Kanye's upcoming effort 808's and Heartbreak due out in November.

The Blueprint 2.9 1/2 Is Going To Be Serious...

Who are we Co-Signing you ask? A Producer named JFace out of Brooklyn New York who has been steadily releasing some of the most underground gem type production that we've heard in months.

And it couldn't happen at a better time as he is releasing a project featuring the God Emcee Jay Hova.

Here's what JFace had to say about his experimentation with ol' Shawny Shawns impeccable rhetoric:

" This project, The Blueprint 2.9 1/2, began production on August 21, 2008. The idea developed during the announcement that Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3 was officially underway and scheduled for release. This effort will consist of some of his greatest records from his last 3 albums. I've compiled them together for a totally remade, high quality productive selection. The idea is not to mesh acapellas with random beats, each record is custom-made to Jay-Z's emotion and message of the record. Ultimately You're guaranteed a new experience after you've listened to this effort I've titled The Blueprint 2.9 1/2.

It drops September 16, 2008 As a FREE DOWNLOAD."

Here's a sample he sent over to us a couple of days ago:

So we awoke to another email from Brooklyn NY producer JFace with a very interesting Heading Messsage. "Lupe Fiasco's Face"...or something along those lines...

Smells Like Money brief synopsis:

"Smells Like Money is a cumulative musical effort regarding the relationship of two of the worlds oldest progressive forces, Currency and the emotion Love. Smells Like Money eloquently details the journey of said emotion on a quest to find its place as well as happiness.

The title of this mixtape was chosen because it expresses the yearning for all that is desired transferred via aroma. The aroma of money is distinct, unique and compels individuals to obtain it.

Money can be percieved as being fleeting and oblivious to emotion.

Where as Love can display characteristics of being pensive and masochistic.

This mixtape is a Lyrical Case Study observing the interaction between these two forces.

We present to you the first case subject: Love.

Enjoy."
