School Clothes Never Looked This Damn Good

Public School is a new high end men's clothing line that combines the gritty New York attitude with the expensive tailoring of European garment manufacturers shaken with a dash of Japanese streetwear influence. This line was created by industry heavyweights Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne. If you haven't heard of them before you definately have seen their work. They have worked for years on Sean "Diddy" Combs' Sean John Clothing line. Here's what Chow has to say about the line:

"We wanted to create something perfect in its imperfection. Something that captured the attitude and rebellious spirit of New York. For us Public School represents the beginnings of that rebellion, it's really the first place where we developed our attitude as a New Yorker."

For the logo of their line Public School, the designers use a black apple with a feather quill. These symbols represent both the rebellious nature of the New Yorker as well as the undying thirst for knowledge. Some features for the pieces dropping in the spring feature high quality lamb leather that is vegetable dyed, specially bonded nylon and cotton materials, as well as Japanese cotton twill.

Wow. Very Abstract clothing line paying homage to the hometown that gave it inspiration, New York. You can check out more from Public School at their official website.
